Joining the Grim Legion
Guild Membership / Invites
In keeping with World of Warcraft's ESRB Rating of "Teen", members have to be at least 13 years of age or older. In addition, we are looking for members who are mature, intelligent, and can play their chosen character(s) well. Only Centurions and higher ranks within the Grim Legion may invite members.
Application Process
- Applicant registers an account on our forum and requests to have it activated.
- An application is filled out in the membership request forum.
- The application is reviewed and approved.
- A verbal interview is conducted over Ventrilo.
- If approved, the applicant is invited at their earliest convenience.
Initiation
The character is invited for a two-week initiation period. During this period, the character is expected to demonstrate an ability to regularly attend our events and have numerous meaningful discussions with members and officers to insure that the guild is a good match for the Initiate.
Upon completion of a successful initiation, the character is promoted to a full member, Whelp.

Guild Meetings
Guild meetings are held once a month. The location is generally a major city. The location and time will be announced in the GMOTD and an in-game event will be scheduled to notify all members. Meetings will be scheduled to maximize attendance.
The purpose of these meetings are:
- Discuss issues
- Call out members for rewards
- Formalize promotions and demotions
- Determine new guild events or activities
- Discuss major policy changes
- Discuss current guild plans
Guild meetings take priority over all other events and all members should strive to never miss one.
On the day of the meeting, if you miss the guild meeting, you are not allowed to attend any of that days’ guild events, unless you were accounted for, e.g., you had previously spoken to a guild officer about your expected absence/tardiness.

Leaving the Grim Legion
[insert clever reference to leaving "feet first"]
Priorities change, people change, folks move on. We understand and support people moving on to guilds that better suit them. There is no perfect guild, no matter how hard we try. It is better that you are happy in the guild that suits you rather than raging against one that does not.
If you feel the need to leave the guild, you must first speak to an officer and provide a reason or there will be a small chance of re-invitation. Re-invitations to the guild are reviewed by the guild officers on a case-by-case basis. If you are re-invited to the guild, all rank and privileges will start back at square one.
